      Similar positions include Account Executive and Account Coordinator. Successful candidates have excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. A college degree in marketing, communications, business or related field is typically required.

      Typical duties of an account manager

      • Planning, coordinating and implementing advertising campaigns
      • Working?with management to assess advertising needs, determine goals and establish annual budgets
      • Managing creative and production teams to develop advertising strategies, including selecting media vehicles, determining timing and placement of materials, and estimating costs
      • Ensuring that campaign strategies are implemented on time and within budget, and adjusting or redirecting strategies as needed
